This was my second try at a chromatic gray study for my painting class. I think it turned out okay. It’s better than the last one. I just really struggle with the fast drying of acrylic paints. I got spoiled painting with oils this past year.

I began this painting two nights ago when we lost power due to a storm. I had tried to paint by flashlight. Don’t do it. I almost didn’t want to get back to it when I finally saw it by daylight. But, I am seriously trying to stick to my new motto: Don’t quit until you finish.
