This was my homework assignment in my painting class (not my oil painting class). We were supposed to paint anything we wanted using chromatic grays. I did not use black, but I think I need to try again tomorrow. The samples shown in class were very muted paintings with a limited value range. I really struggled with my subject. It was too hard to render correctly.
